GETTING STARTED
I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE. DO YOU HAVE CLASSES FOR ME?
The majority of our members start with no experience. Our classes will introduce you to the basics in a supportive environment and allow you to advance at your own pace.
I am a BEGINNER, what class should i START in?
Any of our Kickboxing and Submission Grappling classes are a great place for beginners to get started. Check out our schedule for class times.
Can i observe a class?
We offer the first class for free and encourage those interested to give it a try. There is no better way to see if we are a better fit for you.
What if I am out of shape?
Then it is the perfect time to begin! We have members of all fitness levels. Our classes are designed to help you get in the best shape of your life in a practical, healthy and fun way. We will help motivate you and keep you motivated toward your fitness goals.

Taking Classes
What should I wear?
Shorts, sweats or leggings and a t-shirt always work well. There are no shoes or watches allowed in the training area. We recommend removing jewelry. Piercings that can not be removed should be covered with tape during Submission Grappling and Mixed Martial Arts classes.
Do I need to buy equipment?
We have all the equipment you will need available for you to use during classes. Most long term members eventually choose to purchase there own equipment.
will i get punched in the face?
Only if you want, and not until you are ready! There is no pressure to do live sparring rounds. Some of our members spar, but many come to us just for fun and fitness.
Can my husband, boyfriend, best friend, sister, mother, father or anyone else come to watch class?
We love that you want to share your passion with your family and friends, however due to limited space, potential distraction and member comfort we ask that non-members wait in the lobby while class is in session.

How much do classes cost?
That depends on how many classes per week you take. We have many different options. Find them here.
Are there any additional fees?
the prices shown on our Tuition page are the prices you will pay for your membership. We do not have any hidden costs. The only additional cost would be if you choose to purchase your own equipment.
Will my tuition ever go up?
As one of the ways we thank our long term members, as long as your membership is kept current you will maintain the same membership rate as you signed up with throughout your membership.

Membership
Do you have a contract
We do not have any long term contracts. In order to budget effectively we require 30 days written notice to cancel a Monthly Membership. Prepaid memberships do not require any termination notice.
I pay for the 2 class per week membership but am going to be out of town. can i make up missed classes?
We welcome all Monthly Membership holders to make up missed classes as long as an active membership is maintained. We ask that you try to make up classes within a month of your absence. Find our Make Up Class Policies HERE.
I am going to be out of town for a month. how should i handle my membership?
We do not require any long term contracts therefore monthly memberships can be cancelled with 30 days notice. However, we rely on membership payments to keep our doors open. For instance, if half of our members are out of town most of the summer (very common) and cancelled their memberships it would be difficult for us to stay open for their return in the fall. We keep our prices low, never raise prices for those who maintain an active membership, and do not require contracts with the understanding that our members may make up classes. Please keep this in mind when considering terminating your membership for a temporary leave of absence.
Do you have a fitness equipment only membership?
We do not have a membership for those interested in using our fitness equipment only. However, members may use the fitness equipment at no charge any time we are open.
How do I terminate my membership?
We require 30 days notice to cancel monthly memberships. The best way to do this is to email us.
